Abstract:
SecurityScorecard recently acquired LIFARS, the global leader in Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Penetration Testing, Ransomware Mitigation, and Cyber Resiliency Services.
CISO of SecurityScorecard, Mike Wilkes and Senior Director, Cyber Risk & Resilience Services Larry Slusser will be speaking on Q1 incident response trends in the Oil and Gas Industry. IOCs, TTPs, and attack vectors from recent cases will be discussed with the names anonymized to protect the innocent and the not so innocent.
Speaker Bios:
Mike Wilkes is a Chief Information Security Officer that has built, transformed and protected companies such as ASCAP, Marvel, AQR Capital, CME Group, Sony, Macy's as well as European banks and airlines. A graduate of Stanford University and author of a book for Cisco Press in 2002, he is a featured speaker at technology conferences and is a professor at NYU teaching cybersecurity courses. An avid jazz fan and musician, he is also on the board of trustees for the National Jazz Museum in Harlem.
Larry Slusser is the Sr. Director of Cyber Risk & Resilience Services at Security Scorecard. In addition, Larry runs point on the Incident Response Team responding to significant cyber breaches, ransomware, and data extortion negotiations. Mr. Slusser served as an Officer in the United States Air Force for 6 years serving on C-130 Aircraft. Larry was the first front line logistics officer selected for an exchange tour with Great Britain’s Royal Air Force at RAF Lyneham. Since leaving active duty, Mr. Slusser has held P&L responsibility for various Fortune 500 companies. Graduating with a Masters in Cyber Security, Larry successfully transitioned to cybersecurity.
