Bio: With almost two decades dealing with networking and security on a daily basis, with a great deal of this time spent designing, implementing, and troubleshooting security and networking technologies and gear, Douglas has spent enough time on the front lines to address the issues he sees on the threat landscape to a broader audience. Now working as a Senior Manager for Advanced Threat Intelligence he uses his experience and skills to understand how the threat landscape is shifting and what it means for enterprises and individuals alike. Working closely with the engine development and product management teams, Douglas has deep insight into most of the current and future technologies being developed at Fortinet, as well as the competition, and can provide valuable insight when discussing how mitigation technologies work to stop threats in its tracks. Inside FortiGuard, Douglas is also helping shape the future of cyber threat intelligence, working with machine learning and big data to deliver contextual actionable security intelligence to the fabric of security.
